Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board - Tuesday, 20th January, 2026 2.00 pm
The Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board was scheduled to discuss the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board's NHS Medium Term Planning and 5 Year Strategic Commissioning Plan, as well as the development of Neighbourhood Health Plans across Lancashire. The Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss a range of issues including the future of the board itself, the Better Care Fund, neighbourhood health plans, and a prevention strategy for Lancashire. The board endorsed recommendations from a Local Government Association (LGA) review aimed at strengthening the board's role and approved the Better Care Fund quarter two report. Members also heard about steps being taken to improve health outcomes at a neighbourhood level, and a developing prevention strategy for the county.
