The Lancashire County Council Employment Committee met on Tuesday 4 November 2025 to discuss the recruitment of a Director of Finance, coroner salaries and fees, and the employment of the Executive Director of Adult Services. The committee approved recommendations for all agenda items, including amending the terms of appointment for the Director of Finance role and implementing a pay award for the Senior, Area, and Assistant Coroners. The committee also agreed to exclude the press and public from part of the meeting to discuss exempt information.

Lancashire Combined County Authority - Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 4.00 pm

The Lancashire Combined County Authority (LCCA) met to discuss governance models, local government reorganisation, and major programme updates. The LCCA approved a governance review and agreed to share it with the government, while also agreeing to note the intention to seek clarification from the government regarding additional funding and powers for a Mayoral Combined County Authority. The LCCA also supported the joint submission of proposals for the restructuring of local government in Lancashire.

Full Council - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 1.00 pm

The upcoming Full Council meeting is set to address a variety of topics, including community safety, the members' allowance scheme, and the annual review of overview and scrutiny. Councillors will also discuss committee appointments, the Lancashire County Pension Fund, and the council's meeting schedule for 2026/27.
