The Planning Policy Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved the updated West Northamptonshire Local Development Scheme 2025 on 17 December 2025. The committee delegated authority to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor editorial and presentational changes to the scheme.

The Planning Policy Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved recommendations for the Grand Union and Oxford Canal Conservation Area Review on 19/11/2025. The committee agreed to designate a new conservation area boundary, approve changes to the appraisal and management plan, and adopt the plan as a Supplementary Planning Document. Delegated authority was given to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services for minor editorial changes.

The Planning Policy Committee approved the West Northamptonshire Statement of Community Involvement 2025 on 19 November 2025. The committee also agreed to revoke existing Statements of Community Involvement and delegated authority to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor editorial changes.

The Planning Policy Committee decided to approve recommendations regarding the Grange Park Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan on 19 November 2025. The committee accepted the Examiner's recommended modifications and agreed that the modified plan should proceed to a referendum. Delegated authority was given to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor editorial changes.
