The meeting of the Health and Adults Care Scrutiny Panel on 16 January 2025 was scheduled to include presentations about data use in social care commissioning and best practice in commissioning, as well as a discussion on the next steps for the panel. The meeting was also scheduled to involve consideration of the minutes of the previous meeting of the panel, which took place on 11 November 2024.

This meeting was about whether the committee should approve the draft Statement of Licensing Policy (SoLP) for public consultation. There were no decisions made during the meeting. The report pack for the meeting contains information about why the policy needs to be reviewed, and how it has changed, and includes a copy of the draft policy itself.

The Central Hounslow Area Forum met on the 9th of December at Holy Trinity Church in Hounslow. Before the formal meeting, an informal networking event was scheduled from 6.30 pm, with the formal meeting beginning at 7.30 pm.

Borough Council

Borough Council - Tuesday, 26 November 2024 7:30 pm

The meeting included four petitions on a variety of matters, discussion of the ‘state of the borough’ report, the appointment of a new Monitoring Officer and four proposed motions for debate by members. In addition the council considered reports on treasury management, the adoption of a new gambling policy, and constitutional matters. Lastly, five written questions to cabinet members were answered.

This Licensing Panel meeting had one substantive item on the agenda: an application for the variation of a Premises Licence in respect of Cineworld Cinema, Unity Square, Hounslow. The report pack contains the application, the existing Premises Licence, the Council's Licensing Policy and representations made by members of the public.
