The Adult Care Services Cabinet Panel met to discuss the Sensory Strategy 2025-2028 and the Adult Care Services complaints 2024-25 report, and to receive an update on the Connect and Prevent Transformation Programme. The panel approved the Sensory Strategy and noted the other reports.

The Hertfordshire County Council met to discuss a range of issues, including political proportionality, traffic congestion, youth justice, and local government reorganisation, and ultimately voted to continue exploring options for local government reorganisation, while also agreeing to re-establish a youth parliament. The council also paid tribute to former Councillor Alan Plancy, MBE, who recently passed away.

The Adult Care Services Cabinet Panel of Hertfordshire Council met on Friday 04 July 2025 to discuss the approval of the Day Services Strategy 2025-2030, review the Adult Social Care performance for Quarter 4 of 2024-25, and consider the national policy context for adult social care. The panel approved the Day Services Strategy, noted the performance report, and discussed the implications of national policy developments.

Annual Meeting, County Council - Tuesday, 20 May 2025 10.00 am

At the annual meeting of Hertfordshire County Council, Councillor Laurence Brass was elected as the new Chairman, and Councillor Sandy Walkington was elected as Vice-Chairman. Councillor Steve Jarvis was elected as the Leader of the Council, marking a shift from the previous Conservative administration.
