Adults and Health Select Committee - Thursday, 7 March 2024 10.00 am

The Adults and Health Select Committee recommended that Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships (AW&HP) produce an information booklet on Discharge to Assess, that Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust be clearer about who is leading the new hospital programme, and that the new Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee terms of reference be endorsed.

Surrey Local Pension Board - Friday, 16 February 2024 10.00 am

The Surrey Local Pension Board met and noted all the reports that had been provided to it, including the updates on the MySurrey project and the Guaranteed Minimum Pensions issue. The Board recommended the approval of the draft communications policy statement for 2024/25 to the Pension Fund Committee.

Budget Meeting, Council - Tuesday, 6 February 2024 10.00 am

The Council approved the final budget for 2024/25 and the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) for 2028/29. An amendment to the budget, which would have created a voluntary contribution fund for residents in more affluent areas, was rejected. The Council also approved the appointment of Leigh Whitehouse as interim Chief Executive and Anna D’Alessandro as the interim Section 151 officer, as well as changes to Members’ allowances.
