Rights of Way Committee - Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Rights of Way Committee is scheduled to convene to discuss several key issues, including a request from Newton-by-the-Sea Parish Council regarding a Commons Scheme, and reviews of the definitive map and statement of public rights of way for routes in Wallington, Alnwick, Tosson and Rothbury. The committee will consider evidence and submissions related to these routes to determine whether modifications to the definitive map are warranted.

Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership - Wednesday, 19th November, 2025 6.00 pm

The Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership met to discuss sports development, regeneration projects, and a number of other local issues. The meeting was scheduled to include presentations on sports development in Ashington and Newbiggin, as well as the Blyth Celebrates and Animating Ashington projects. Councillors were also asked to nominate members for appointment to outside bodies.

County Council - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The agenda for Northumberland County Council's meeting on 5 November 2025 included discussion of the Berwick Maltings Theatre project, annual reports from several cabinet members, an annual report from the Audit Committee, an interim report from the Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and a review of polling districts and polling places. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss political proportionality on the council and proposed updates to the constitution.

The Rights of Way Committee for Northumberland County Council was scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, to discuss a range of issues, including an application for village green status and several reviews of the definitive map and statement of public rights of way. The committee, including Councillor Alan Sharp as Chair and Councillor Martin Swinbank as Vice-Chair, was expected to convene at County Hall in Morpeth.

Licensing Committee - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 2.00 pm

The Licensing Committee of Northumberland County Council met to discuss a refresh of their licensing policies under the Gambling Act 2005 and the Licensing Act 2003. The meeting also included a quarterly activity update, and a discussion of the date of the next meeting.
