The panel also established a Budget Scrutiny Task and Finish Panel to review the council's budget and ensure it aligns with strategic objectives and community priorities.

Councillor Robert Chapman, Cabinet Member for Finance, Insourcing and Customer Service, chaired the meeting. The committee approved a contract variation for the City and Hackney Integrated Substance Misuse Service, approved the appointment of providers to the Emergency Accommodation Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), approved the procurement of roofing and scaffolding services, and approved the award of a contract for consultancy services for Phase One to accelerate work on prevention and demand management.
