Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 30th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board met on Thursday, 30 October 2025, to discuss the Better Belonging Lincolnshire - Sufficiency Strategy for SEND and Alternative Provision 2025-2028 . The Board supported the recommendations within the strategy and agreed that their comments would be passed on to the Executive. The meeting also included a review of the work programmes for other scrutiny committees and the Board's own work programme.

Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 17th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee met to discuss several key issues, including updates to the Young Carers Scrutiny Review Action Plan, the Childcare Sufficiency in Lincolnshire, and the Children's Services Annual Statutory Complaints Report. The committee agreed to receive a second monitoring update on the Young Carers Scrutiny Review Action Plan in April 2026, and were assured on the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment for 2025 and the performance of children's services in relation to the annual statutory complaints report. Due to the inclusion of exempt information, the public and press were excluded from the discussion of education provision planning.

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board met to discuss several key issues, including the King Charles III England Coast Path, treasury management performance, and an update on the IT services portfolio. The board supported recommendations to the Executive on the King Charles III England Coast Path project and the financial performance review. Members also endorsed the Scrutiny Annual Report and noted the work programmes of various scrutiny committees.

Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 5th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Children and Cultural Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report, and to review proposed changes to the Children and Young People's Nursing Service. The committee approved the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report for 2024-25 and supported taking forward the recommendations for the Children and Young People's Nursing Service to the Executive Councillor for Children's Services. The committee also approved the planned work programme for 2025-26, subject to consideration of items discussed.

Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 28th August, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board was scheduled to consider several key reports, including updates on the Integrated Lifestyle Service, the Council's financial performance for the first quarter of 2025/26, and the North Hykeham Relief Road project. The Board was also set to review the draft Overview and Scrutiny Annual Report for 2025 and its own work programme for the upcoming year.
