The Children's Trust Joint Committee is scheduled to consider a range of financial and operational plans for the Northamptonshire Children's Trust. Key discussions are expected to focus on the Trust's contract sums, savings targets, medium-term financial strategy, and its business plan for the coming years. The committee will also review the Trust's annual report on its service delivery contract for 2024/25.

Executive - Tuesday 20th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council approved a four-year contract for the procurement of waste and recycling containers and adopted an updated Highway Network Management Plan. They also agreed to proceed with the development of a town centre masterplan for Wellingborough, followed by Kettering, and decided to prepare the new Local Plan under the Government's revised development plan system.

The Executive of North Northamptonshire Council is scheduled to meet on 16 December 2025 to discuss the council's budget, medium-term financial plan, and capital programme, as well as updates on efficiency reviews and strategic risks. The meeting will also cover the Housing Revenue Account and various policy updates.

During the meeting of North Northamptonshire Council, held on 11 December 2025, councillors approved the Corporate Parenting Board Annual Report 2024-25, the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-26, and the terms of reference for a Community Governance Review. They also agreed to introduce council tax premiums for long-term empty properties and second homes, and set the council tax base for 2026/27.
