The Audit and Standards Committee met to discuss the external auditor's plans for the council and pension fund, the annual governance statement, and the committee's annual report. The committee endorsed the external audit plans for both the council and the pension fund, as well as the draft governance statement, and approved the committee's annual report for submission to the council.

Dispensations Sub Committee - Thursday 5 June 2025 10.00 am

The Dispensations Sub Committee of Warwickshire County Council met on 5 June 2025 to discuss applications for dispensations. The report pack included a recommendation to grant dispensations to all councillors in relation to certain functions of the council. These dispensations were intended to prevent councillors from inadvertently breaching requirements related to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests[^1] (DPIs) and to ensure the council could conduct its business effectively.

Annual Council, County Council - Friday 16 May 2025 10.00 am

At the annual general meeting of Warwickshire County Council, Councillor Edward Harris was elected as chair, Councillor Dale Keeling was elected as vice-chair, and Councillor Rob Howard was appointed as leader of the council. Councillors also approved appointments to committees and other bodies, received the annual report on the use of urgency and call-in procedures, reviewed the overview and scrutiny annual report, and approved amendments to contract standing orders.
