Councillors also approved proposals for speed reduction measures on Bridge Road and Moor Lane, subject to statutory consultation.

The Kingston upon Thames Place Committee met to discuss the implementation of a lane rental scheme and to receive an annual update on the Seething Wells Filter Beds. The committee agreed in principle to implement a Lane Rental Scheme in the borough and delegated authority to the Director of Highways, Transport and Regulatory Services, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder, to progress the application to join the London Borough Lane Rental Scheme. The committee also noted the updates regarding the Seething Wells Filter Beds.

Home to School Travel Appeals Panel - Wednesday 13 August 2025 6:30 pm

The Home to School Travel Appeals Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss a report on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, and to agree on a meeting procedure. Councillor Diane White, Portfolio Holder for Children's Services (including Education) and Co-Chair - People Committee, was scheduled to attend as a substitute. The panel was expected to exclude the press and public from the meeting because of the confidential nature of the information to be discussed.
