Audit Committee - Thursday, 28th August, 2025 5.10 pm

The Audit Committee of Hillingdon Council met on 28 August 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including updates on the Governance Review Improvement Plan, the Financial Modernisation Programme, risk management, and reports from both internal and external audit teams. The meeting also included a discussion of recommendations made under Section 24 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, and a review of the committee's work programme.

Corporate Resources & Infrastructure Select Committee - Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Corporate Resources & Infrastructure Select Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the Hillingdon Cycle Strategy, and to continue their review into maximising the use of council spaces. The committee was also scheduled to receive a verbal update on financial scrutiny training, and to note the forward plan and work programme.

Council - Thursday, 10th July, 2025 7.30 pm

The Hillingdon Council meeting scheduled for 10 July 2025 included discussion of the council's financial position, committee membership, and responses to questions from both the public and council members. Councillors were also expected to consider motions relating to Heathrow Airport, waste collection charges, the Rural Activities Garden Centre (RAGC), and support for asylum seekers. The meeting was also scheduled to include the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

Hillingdon Planning Committee - Wednesday, 11th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The Hillingdon Planning Committee convened to discuss several planning applications, including a proposal to construct a discount food store at the site of The Orchard Inn in Ruislip, which was ultimately refused. Additionally, the committee approved an application for a double-storey side extension at 42 The Larches and another for the erection of a part two-storey, part three-storey care home at 12-18 Pield Heath Road & 2 Pield Heath Avenue, subject to a section 106 legal agreement.
