Health and Well-being Board - Thursday, 14th August, 2025 10.00 am
The Northumberland Health and Well-being Board met to discuss the Thriving Together annual review, and the Healthwatch Northumberland annual report. The board was also scheduled to review its forward plan for the 2025/26 council year.
Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 10.00 am
The Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the Children's Social Care annual self-evaluation, the Ofsted inspection summary for Northumberland Skills, and the committee's work programme. The committee was also expected to note the decisions taken by the cabinet since the previous meeting, as well as the latest forward plan of key decisions.
Schools' Forum - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 9.30 am
The Northumberland Council Schools' Forum met to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) outturn for 2024-25, school balances, and the scheme for financing maintained schools. Also on the agenda was a discussion of an article from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) funding. The Schools' Forum was also scheduled to review its work programme and meeting dates for 2025-26.
Health and Well-being Board - Thursday, 10th July, 2025 10.00 am
The Northumberland Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss several key items, including the Northumberland Dementia Strategy 2025-2035, the Better Care Fund, and the board's forward plan. The meeting was also scheduled to include the election of a vice-chair.
