Westminster City Council met on Wednesday 12 November 2025, and approved the programme of meetings for 2026/2027, and a constitutional update relating to the delegation of functions under the London Squares Preservation Act 1931. Councillors also debated and approved a motion standing united against the rise of the far right and in support of inclusive communities.

Planning Sub-Committee (1) - Tuesday 11th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Sub-Committee (1) of Westminster City Council met on 11 November 2025, considering four planning applications. Permission was granted for alterations and a new basement at 4 Devonshire Close, and for a roof extension and other alterations at Hallam House, 56-60 Hallam Street and 44 and 50 Hallam Street. Permission was also granted for the installation of louvred doors at 55 Marylebone High Street, but an application for basement excavation at 5 Upper Belgrave Street was refused.

Planning Sub-Committee (2) - Tuesday 14th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Sub-Committee (2) of Westminster Council was scheduled to meet on 14 October 2025 to discuss several planning applications. The meeting was to include discussion of applications for work on Blandford Street, Cumberland Street, and Grosvenor Crescent Mews.

Vulnerable Adults, Health and Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 18th September, 2025 6.30 pm

The Vulnerable Adults, Health and Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Community Priorities Programme and grants, the Community Hubs Programme, and to shape the committee's work programme for the 2025-2026 municipal year. The committee reviewed the investment in community grants, their allocation, and the second year of delivery of the Community Priorities Programme. They also reviewed the delivery of the Community Hubs Programme.
