High Wycombe Town Committee - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The High Wycombe Town Committee met to discuss the Wycombe Vision, Q1 special expenses, the High Wycombe Market, improvements to Booker Park Recreation Ground, and an art-led project. The committee was also scheduled to discuss the potential disposal of a council-owned property asset in High Wycombe.

Growth, Infrastructure & Housing Select Committee - Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025 10.00 am

The Growth, Infrastructure and Housing Committee met to discuss the Buckinghamshire Housing Strategy, planning priorities, and culture and leisure in the area. Councillor David Moore was appointed Vice-Chair of the committee.

Council - Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 4.00 pm

The Buckinghamshire Council met to discuss several key issues, including the appointment of a returning officer, cabinet member reports, and motions related to local plans and funding. Councillors approved the appointment of Lisa Marie Williams as the returning officer and electoral registration officer, and also approved a motion to engage with water and sewage providers on capacity investment in the local plan. A motion regarding transparency of member fees was referred to the Standards and General Purpose Committee.

High Wycombe Town Committee - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The High Wycombe Town Committee met to discuss a vision for the town, review special expenses, and receive updates on market infrastructure and town centre development. Councillor Ed Gemmell was formally appointed as Chairman, and Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE was appointed as Vice Chair. The committee discussed a number of issues including community engagement, town improvements, and budget allocations, with a focus on collaborative efforts to enhance High Wycombe.

(Annual Meeting), Council - Wednesday, 21st May, 2025 4.00 pm

Buckinghamshire Council convened for its first meeting since the local elections, during which Councillor Sarfaraz Khan Raja was elected as the new Chairman, and Councillor John Chilver was elected as Vice-Chairman. Councillor Steve Broadbent was elected as the Leader of the council, and he announced his cabinet appointments for the year. The council also approved the proposed structure for select committees and made appointments to various committees, partnerships, and outside bodies.
