Health and Wellbeing Board - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 2.30 pm

The Hillingdon Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss an integrated health and wellbeing performance report, a community equipment service update, and a pharmaceutical needs assessment. The board reviewed performance against key priorities, focusing on integrated neighbourhood teams and reactive care programmes, and agreed to delegate further amendments of the Draft PNA prior to publication to the Public Health team and Business Intelligence team. They also discussed future agenda items, aiming to strategically plan upcoming meetings.

CABINET - Thursday, 24th July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Hillingdon Council cabinet met to discuss the borough's financial challenges, approve an investment plan for Uxbridge, and implement additional licensing controls for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), among other items. The cabinet approved recommendations to address the council's budget shortfall, reallocate capital funds, and seek exceptional financial support from the government. They also adopted the Uxbridge Vision as a framework for future investment in the town centre.

The Hillingdon Council meeting scheduled for 10 July 2025 included discussion of the council's financial position, committee membership, and responses to questions from both the public and council members. Councillors were also expected to consider motions relating to Heathrow Airport, waste collection charges, the Rural Activities Garden Centre (RAGC), and support for asylum seekers. The meeting was also scheduled to include the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

The Hillingdon Council Cabinet met to discuss a range of issues, including the closure of retail operations at the Rural Activities Garden Centre, homelessness prevention, temporary accommodation, education funding, and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The Cabinet agreed to cease retail operations at the Rural Activities Garden Centre, welcomed a report on homelessness prevention, noted an update on temporary accommodation, approved capital funding allocations for education, and approved allocations for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The board approved the Hillingdon Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategic Priorities, Dashboard and Progress Update, which sets five strategic priorities for 2025-2028, and also approved the 2025/26 Better Care Fund Plan, which details how funding will be allocated to support health and social care integration.
