...the Cabinet noted the contents of the Northamptonshire SACRE Annual Report 2024/2025, approved its publication, and approved the adoption of the SACRE Model Code of Conduct to be reflected in the Constitution, with complaint determinations handled by the Council’s Monitoring Officer in consultation with an Independent Member.

...to bring management of its housing services from Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) back into the Council, a phased approach was approved, with some services transitioning in April 2026 and the remainder by April 2027, with £490k allocated from Housing Revenue Account Reserves to cover implementation costs.

...to resolve the final account for the Market Square project, the Cabinet recommended to Council an increase of £1 million to the capital budget, bringing the total to £13.518 million, and delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place to sign a confidential settlement agreement.

...to improve the handling of complaints, the Cabinet approved recommendations focused on encouraging local resolution, empowering managers, and familiarizing members with best practices, including encouraging members' involvement in the overview and scrutiny of complaints handling.
