The Strategic Planning Committee met on 16 September 2025, and unanimously approved the demolition of the existing building at 114-150 Queensway and 97-113 Inverness Terrace, W2 and its redevelopment into two interlinked buildings with retail and restaurant space, and 94 residential units. The development includes 35% affordable housing, and is subject to a legal agreement covering various contributions and conditions.

The City of Westminster Council met on 10 September 2025, and began by electing Councillor Hamza Taouzzale as Relief Chair for the meeting.
