LGA Governance Review - update to the Constitution

Formation of Joint Planning Committee and Review of Political Balance

...to address a cross-boundary planning application for a solar farm, the Council approved the formation of a Joint Planning Committee with Torridge District Council, comprising nine councillors from North Devon and nine from Torridge, and delegated authority to officers to agree on the committee's terms of reference, while also agreeing to review the political balance of its committees.
