The Democracy and Standards Committee met to discuss its terms of reference and work programme, and to re-establish the Constitutional Working Group. The committee approved the terms of reference and work programme, and voted to re-establish the Constitutional Working Group. The membership and chair of the Constitutional Working Group will be agreed outside of the meeting in consultation with the groups.

Audit and Governance Committee - Monday 16th June, 2025 2.00 pm

The Audit and Governance Committee of North Northamptonshire Council met to discuss the external audit plan for 2024/25, the internal audit annual report for 2024-2025, the internal audit progress report, and the internal audit strategy. The committee approved the Internal Audit Strategy for 2025-2028.

Annual Council, Council - Thursday 22nd May, 2025 6.00 pm

At the annual meeting of North Northamptonshire Council, Councillor Helen Campbell was elected as Chair of the Council, and Councillor Maurice Eglin was appointed as Vice-Chair. Councillors also noted the election results from 1 May, which saw Reform UK gain a majority on the council, and they approved committee memberships and appointments to outside bodies.
