The Croydon Council Health and Wellbeing Board convened to discuss mental health initiatives, anti-racism efforts, the Better Care Fund, and the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, among other items. The board agreed to publish the 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and also approved plans for a workshop to shape the council's strategic approach to anti-racism.

Croydon Council held an extraordinary meeting to discuss the potential implications of the Secretary of State's intention to appoint commissioners to the council. The council agreed to note a report from Statutory Officers on the matter, and then heard a statement from Mayor Jason Perry, followed by questions from councillors. The council discussed the government's proposal, the council's financial position, and the potential impact on services.

Health & Wellbeing Board

Health & Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 18th June, 2025 2.00 pm

The Croydon Health & Wellbeing Board convened to discuss several key issues, including the development of the board itself, the Better Care Fund, a pharmaceutical needs assessment, local community partnerships, and the Director of Public Health's annual report. The board approved a themed approach for its forward plan, discussed representation from the voluntary sector, and approved the addition of a representative from the Croydon Resident Voices Group to its membership. The board also signed off on the Better Care Fund Year End Submission for 2024/25 and received updates on the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment and Local Community Partnerships.
