Community Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 13th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Community Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Cornwall Council met to discuss a range of topics, including the Resources and Waste Strategy Delivery Plan, the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service People Culture and Leadership Programme review, and the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Capital Replacement Programme for 2025-26. The committee also undertook a mid-year review of its work programme.

Standards Committee - Thursday, 30th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Standards Committee met to discuss complaints handling and ethical standards, and to review the annual letter from the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO). The committee agreed to continue monitoring waste service complaints, requested more information on invoicing and payments, and asked for clarification on statistics in the LGSCO report. Additionally, the committee agreed to extend restrictions on an individual under the Unreasonable Customer Behaviour Policy.

Community Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 2nd October, 2025 10.00 am

The Community Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss and provide feedback on the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service's (CFRS) Medium Term Financial Plan 2025-26, the CFRS Productivity and Efficiency Plan 2025-26, and the Food and Feed Hygiene and Standards Plan 2025-26, all of which were recommended for approval to the Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Public Health. The committee also reviewed updates from various cabinet members.
