The Health and Social Care Select Committee were scheduled to discuss adult social care, the annual performance report, and the cabinet forward plan at their meeting. The committee was also expected to review adult social care early intervention and prevention, and to consider their work programme for the year.

Standards Committee - Monday, 13th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Standards Committee met to discuss the appointment of an Independent Person and to consider two complaints against elected members, ultimately deciding to take no further action on either complaint. The committee recommended that the council approve the appointment of Mr. Roger Cook as the council's second Independent Person until July 2030. They also instructed the Monitoring Officer to arrange refresher briefings on the Code of Conduct for the members involved in the complaints, and to write to the Chief Whips of each group to remind their members to conduct debates politely and efficiently.

Health and Social Care Select Committee - Tuesday, 16th September, 2025 6.30 pm

The Health and Social Care Select Committee met to discuss the proposed closure of the minor injuries unit at Mount Vernon Hospital, review adult social care spending, and receive an update on support for autistic people in the borough. The committee agreed to amend the draft final report on GP coverage in Hillingdon and requested a presentation on technology-enabled care plans at their November meeting.
