Call In Hearing, Place and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 19th August 2025 7.00 pm

The Place and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee convened to address a call-in regarding a cabinet decision on the Sustainability Strategy Review. Councillor Rosie Humphreys initiated the call-in, supported by several other councillors, to enable scrutiny of the implications of resolutions endorsed by the cabinet on 16 July 2025. The committee was scheduled to consider whether to refer the decision back to the cabinet, refer the matter to the full council, or take no further action.

Audit and Governance Committee - Thursday 24th July 2025 6.00 pm

The Audit and Governance Committee of West Northamptonshire Council were scheduled to discuss the annual reports for both the committee itself, and for internal audit, as well as the annual governance statement. Also on the agenda was the internal audit progress, the external audit plan for the Northamptonshire Pension Fund, the strategic risk register, and a governance update. The committee were also scheduled to review and approve their work programme.

Pensions Fund Committee - Monday 21st July 2025 6.00 pm

The Pensions Fund Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on Monday 21 July 2025, to discuss the external audit plan, the draft statement of accounts, and updates to the business plan activities. The committee was also scheduled to review the annual investment strategy and the performance of investment consultancy providers.

Council - Thursday 26th June 2025 5.00 pm

West Northamptonshire Council was scheduled to meet on 26 June 2025 at The Great Hall at The Guildhall, Northampton. The agenda included the presentation of annual reports from overview and scrutiny committees, a review of the council's flag protocol, and a discussion on setting allowances for council members. Councillors were also expected to discuss regional devolution, youth services, and support for children in care.
