The Pension Committee of Waltham Forest Council met on Wednesday 24 September 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including a presentation from Mercer on private markets, a pension administration services update, and a pension performance update. The committee was also scheduled to review the draft pension annual report and accounts for 2024/25.

The Waltham Forest Council Planning Committee met on 2 September 2025 and approved planning permission for a mixed-use development on Larkshall Road in Highams Park, and a roof extension on St Peters Avenue in Walthamstow. The committee delegated authority to the Assistant Director - Development Management and Building Control to formalise the wording of conditions and reasons for refusal, if necessary.

Council - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 7.30 pm

Waltham Forest Council met on 17 July 2025, and after observing a moment of silence for the victims of the 7/7 attacks and others, councillors discussed a range of issues including play and community spaces, the borough's financial situation, and parking fees. A motion to support and improve play opportunities for children was passed, and several appointments to committees and outside bodies were agreed.
