The Devizes Area Board met to discuss community engagement, funding, and local initiatives. Cllr Dominic Muns, The Lavingtons, was appointed as Chairman of the Devizes Area Board for 2025/26, and Cllr Tamara Reay, Devizes Rural West, was appointed as Vice-Chairman.

The Staffing Policy Committee of Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet on 26 June 2025 to discuss workforce data, policy updates, and staff benefits. The committee was expected to review a bi-annual workforce report, consider a new recruitment and retention incentive payments policy, and discuss updates to the annual leave and bank holiday entitlement policy. The Wiltshire Council Appeals Sub-Committee (School Transport) met on 18 June 2025 to consider a school transport appeal. The panel upheld the original decision that there was no obligation to provide free transport to Lavington School, but agreed to provide a space in an existing taxi from Westbury Leigh to Lavington School, due to the exceptional circumstances raised by the appellant.
Children's Select Committee - Wednesday 11 June 2025 10.30 am
The Children's Select Committee met to elect a chairman and vice-chairman, and to discuss the committee's work programme. Councillor Laura Mayes was elected chairman, and Councillor Denise Bates was elected vice-chairman. The committee agreed to develop a work programme over time, and to hold a rapid scrutiny meeting regarding short breaks for children and young people with additional needs.
