The committee agreed to ask the planning section of the council to report to a meeting of OSC within the next three months on their knowledge of the provision of children's home accommodation in the city by the private sector, what they know about where it is, who operates it, and what they understand to be the council's ability to regulate it from a planning perspective. The committee also noted the corporate estate annual report and agreed to add the element of care homes into the new year's work programme.
