At this meeting of the full council, a number of petitions and questions were presented by members of the public, two topics were debated by Councillors, a new Instrument of Governance for the Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) was approved, and a motion was passed relating to supporting pensioners struggling with the cost of living.

Discretionary Housing Payments Review Advisory Panel - Tuesday 17th September, 2024 10.00 am

The Discretionary Housing Payments Review Advisory Panel was scheduled to review two requests for reviews of decisions to refuse to grant discretionary housing payments. The meeting was also scheduled to include a closed session where information relating to any individual was to be discussed.

Young People, Learning and Employment Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 30th July, 2024 6.30 pm, NEW

The Committee met to discuss two reports: one on the North Paddington Programme and the other on the ActiveWestminster Strategy. The Committee recommended that the Council reconsider how many core themes the North Paddington Programme is attempting to address. They also recommended that the ActiveWestminster strategy makes more benches available in the public realm and publishes a timeline of events and activities to make it easier for people to find out what’s going on.

Inner West London Mental Health Services Reconfiguration Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Monday 22nd July, 2024 6.30 pm, NEW

Health & Wellbeing Board - Thursday 18th July, 2024 4.00 pm

The most significant item on the agenda for this meeting of the Health & Wellbeing Board was the discussion of the implementation of the board's strategy for improving the health and wellbeing of residents in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. The meeting also included scheduled discussion of a new scheme to provide better joined-up health and social care in the community, and a report on preparations for a new assessment of the pharmaceutical needs of residents.
