It considered reports on the performance of services for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), the performance of children's social care and Lewisham's Safeguarding Children Partnership, as well as looking at what Lewisham's young people are doing after the age of 16. The Corporate Parenting Group was scheduled to discuss the support provided to children in care in Lewisham at their meeting. The meeting was due to consider reports on a range of areas, including health, social care and education. Councillors were also scheduled to review the council's strategy for ensuring there are enough places for children in care.
