Corporate Parenting Group - Tuesday, 8th October, 2024 6.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Group was scheduled to discuss the support provided to children in care in Lewisham at their meeting. The meeting was due to consider reports on a range of areas, including health, social care and education. Councillors were also scheduled to review the council's strategy for ensuring there are enough places for children in care.

The most significant item included on the agenda for this meeting of the full council was a report on the final outturn position of the treasury management activities for the 2023/24 financial year, and the mid-year review of the 2024/25 financial year. Children and Young People Select Committee - Thursday, 12th September, 2024 7.00 pm

The Children and Young People Select Committee was scheduled to discuss several reports, including a preliminary response to a task and finish group that had reviewed youth services in the borough, the emotional wellbeing and mental health of the borough's young people and the committee's own work programme.

Audit and Risk Committee - Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 7.00 pm

The meeting received the Head of Assurance's Annual Report and Opinion on the Council's governance, risk management and control, approved the 2024/25 Internal Audit Plan, received an update on the progress of the external audit, noted the management responses to the recommendations made in the 2022/23 Auditor's Annual Report and received the Corporate Risk Register Update. The meeting confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting.
