The Lancashire Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on Monday 17th November 2025 for their annual general meeting. The agenda included an update on SACRE membership, a review of their development plan, and a discussion of a statement from the National Association of Standing Advisory Councils on Religious Education (NASACRE) regarding curriculum and assessment. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss working towards achieving a Westhill or Culham St Gabriels Award.

The Lancashire County Council Regulatory Committee met on Wednesday 12 November 2025 to discuss several matters relating to public rights of way. These included the review of the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way[^1], and a number of investigations into upgrading, extinguishment, creation and diversion of footpaths.

The Lancashire County Council Development Control Committee met to discuss several planning applications, including a proposal for sand and gravel extraction in Preesall, a waste processing building in Hillhouse International Business Park, and a residential development in South Ribble. The committee refused the application for sand and gravel extraction, but approved the other two applications, subject to conditions.
