Corporate Parenting Advisory Committee - Monday, 22nd September, 2025 3.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Advisory Committee was scheduled to meet on 22 September 2025 to discuss the progress made on the Corporate Parenting Annual Plan 2025-2026, with a particular focus on providing stable homes, and supporting educational achievement, employment and training for children in care. The committee was also scheduled to discuss the Welsh Government's consultation on the code of practice for looked after and accommodated children.

Licensing Sub Committee - Wednesday, 17th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub Committee of Cardiff Council met on Wednesday 17 September 2025 to consider applications for premises licences. Councillor Michael Michael, Deputy Lord Mayor, was scheduled to chair the meeting, with Councillors Maliika Kaaba and Rhys Owain Livesy also in attendance. The committee was scheduled to discuss a variation to an existing premises licence, and the grant of a new premises licence.

Public Protection Sub Committee - Wednesday, 30th July, 2025 10.00 am

The Public Protection Sub Committee convened to address several Hackney Carriage/Private Hire matters, focusing on the conduct and licensing of drivers. The committee addressed nine applications, resulting in a licence revocation, a licence suspension, the granting of a licence, written warnings for five drivers, and the deferral of a hearing pending further legal proceedings.
