The Scrutiny Committee of Kent County Council is scheduled to meet on 25 November 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including the council's budget forecast, council tax collection, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and local government reorganisation. The committee will also review the annual report from the Kent Flood Risk and Water Management Committee, and its work programme.

Policy and Resources Cabinet Committee - Thursday, 13th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Policy and Resources Cabinet Committee was scheduled to meet on 13 November 2025 to discuss the adoption of a new commercial strategy, budget planning for 2026-27, and an update on the decant of Invicta House into Sessions House. The committee was also expected to review commercial and procurement performance, and receive an update on the Department of Local Government Efficiency.

County Council - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 10.00 am

Kent County Council (KCC) met to discuss local government reorganisation, the council's strategic direction, and pressing issues such as social care funding and NHS pressures. The council approved its strategic statement, Reforming Kent 2025-2028, and debated a motion on the NHS and social care crisis, but did not vote on KCC's strategic business case for local government reorganisation in Kent and Medway.

Environment & Transport Cabinet Committee - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 10.00 am, NEW

The Environment and Transport Cabinet Committee are scheduled to meet on Tuesday 4 November 2025 to discuss a range of environment and transport issues. These include waste management, green finance, water resources, highway maintenance, and energy efficiency.
