Councillors voted against a proposal to send the flag policy back to the cabinet for further discussion, and also voted against a proposal to publish the reasons behind decisions on whether or not to allow a flag to be flown. The committee agreed to hold a future meeting to examine the Wheat Street/Leicester Road CPO in greater detail.

Audit and Standards Committee - Thursday 11 September 2025 12.30 pm

The Audit and Standards Committee met on Thursday 11 September 2025, receiving an internal audit update report, discussing the committee's future work programme, and noting the upcoming retirement of Robert Zara, Independent Member. The committee also agreed to exclude the public from the meeting to discuss confidential information.

County Council - Tuesday 22 July 2025 10.00 am

The meeting of the Warwickshire County Council on 22 July 2025 included a debate on developer contributions to the School Lane Junction scheme, which was ultimately deferred, and a tied vote on the appointment of political assistants, which was decided by the Chair's casting vote. The council also discussed additions to the education capital programme, the Audit and Standards Committee annual report, and a motion supporting the climate emergency declaration.

Audit and Standards Committee - Thursday 17 July 2025 10.00 am

The Audit and Standards Committee met to discuss the Internal Audit Annual Report 2024/25, which gave an overall opinion of substantial assurance on the council's control environment. The committee also reviewed the work programme and future meeting dates, and confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting.
