Additional resource to fund an Article 4 post (HMO)

The purpose of this report is to secure additional funding to appoint to a temporary position within the Planning Policy Team, to lead the development of an Article 4 direction in relation to HMOs.  This position is proposed to be a stand-alone project bespoke position reporting to the Planning Implementation Manager.

...to ensure the Council's financial statements accurately reflected its position, the Cabinet approved the write-off of £246,315 in bad debts, individually exceeding £5,000, with Hertsmere's share of these write-offs amounting to £65,813, to be funded from existing bad debt provisions.
