Licensing Sub-Committee (4) - Thursday 12th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Westminster City Council Licensing Sub-Committee (4) convened to assess two applications for new premises licences in the West End. The committee reviewed applications for L'eto at 155 Wardour Street and Ria's at 29 - 31 Foubert's Place, both located within the West End Cumulative Impact Area[^1].

Licensing Committee - Wednesday 11th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing Committee of Westminster City Council convened to discuss several key issues, including proposed amendments to the council's Licensing Act 2003 model conditions, the performance of the licensing service, and an update on licensing appeals. The committee approved the proposed changes to the model conditions, and delegated authority to the Director of Public Protection and Licensing to make further changes as needed. They also noted reports on the performance of the licensing service and recent licensing appeals.

Licensing Sub-Committee (3) - Wednesday 4th June, 2025 10.00 am

Westminster City Council's Licensing Sub-Committee (3) met to consider an application for a new premises licence for the GoBoat kiosk at 5 Merchant Square. The applicant, W&S London Limited, sought permission to sell alcohol from the kiosk for consumption off the premises. After hearing from the applicant, residents, the Metropolitan Police, and their legal advisor, the committee agreed to defer their decision, which will be communicated to all parties within five working days.

Licensing Sub-Committee (2) - Thursday 22nd May, 2025 10.00 am

The Westminster City Council's Licensing Sub-Committee (2) convened on Thursday, 22 May 2025, to address an expedited license review for the Frankfort Arms and several applications for shadow licenses. The committee decided to suspend the license for the Frankfort Arms, and considered the applications for shadow licenses for premises on Bateman Street, Greek Street and Wellington Street, but deferred their decisions to a later date.
