2024/25 Medium Term Financial Strategy update – Period 6 (September)

This report is to update Full Cabinet on how the Council is performing against the approved 2024/25 – 2026/27 Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) in the current financial year alongside setting out any new challenges that are emerging for the revised MTFS for 2025/26 – 2027/28.

Transformation Funding & Customer Service Transformation

...to support the customer and digital transformation programme, the Cabinet approved the establishment of a transformation funding pot, initially from the budget strategy reserve, to pump prime capacity for delivering MTFS related transformation initiatives, with specific drawdowns to be approved by the Director of Resources in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Resources, and endorsed the Right Service, Right Place, Right Time principles for the Customer Services Transformation Programme.
