...to support the delivery of the Council's priorities, the Cabinet approved recommendations to note the progress of external funding applications for Projects A and B, and to delegate authority to the relevant Director to sign contractual arrangements if the funding applications are successful.

Mell Square Redevelopment

...to facilitate the Mell Square Redevelopment, the Cabinet reconfirmed the use of statutory powers to appropriate land for planning purposes, approved engaging with third parties before using powers to address their rights, approved using powers to override third party interests, delegated authority to implement these recommendations, and delegated authority to adjust the boundary of the Morrisons lease.

Medium Term Financial Strategy Update (Corporate Capital Programme 2025/26)

...to approve the rephasing, removal, and revision of budgets within the corporate capital programme for 2025/26, including the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) capital programme, and to approve the passporting of Government capital allocations for 2026/27 and the use of Transformation Fund money for redundancy costs associated with the Enhanced Reablement Service.
