Agreement for Less than Best lease for the development of Old Cockburn Sports Hall

The decision is for an agreement for lease for Hamara for the site known as Old Cockburn Sports Hall. The site is already subject to a lease to Hamara for 25 years, commencing 2017. The decision is to agree the principle of a new 99-year ground lease to Hamara to facilitate enhanced plans and offer through the proposed re-development plans for the site, which includes the demolition of the current building and the construction of a new purpose built two-storey community building.

Design and Cost Report associated with the refurbishment of Unit 6 Waterside Road, Stourton for Assisted Living Leeds

Note the responsible officer for implementation and the delivery of the refurbishment is the Chief Officer Asset Management & Regeneration.

Lettings Policy Review 2025

Housing Leeds is seeking approval to implement a new lettings policy with changes to the qualification criteria to join the housing register, who can be added to a housing application, permanent removal of the date of registration and tenant transfer quotas, increase in priority period, a new direct let category for homeless customers and changes to award of priority to applicants with children living in high rise accommodation. Approve the commencement of consultation on changes to local lettings policies and the New Build lettings policy.
