Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) - Thursday 9 October 2025 5.00 pm

The Brent Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) met on Thursday 9 October 2025 to discuss its core responsibilities, elect a vice chair, and receive Religious Education (RE) related updates. Council - Monday 15 September 2025 6.00 pm

At a meeting of Brent Council, councillors debated topics ranging from local traffic concerns to international relations, and also reviewed the council's finances. The council approved a motion to push for visitor levy powers, but voted down motions on street cleaning and illegal immigration.

Cabinet - Monday 8 September 2025 10.00 am

The Cabinet of Brent Council met on Monday 08 September 2025, with key decisions including the approval of the relocation of Islamia Primary School to the Gwyneth Rickus site, the allocation of £8 million for Community Infrastructure Levy projects, and the continuation of the shared mortuary service with Barnet and Harrow Councils. The Cabinet also approved the next phase of the Council Homes Acquisition Programme to acquire 15 properties for temporary accommodation and agreed to withdraw from the Tri-Borough leisure contract procurement to establish a standalone procurement for Vale Farm Sports Centre.

The Brent Council cabinet met on 28 July 2025 and made decisions on a number of key issues, including approving the amalgamation of two schools, addressing financial challenges, and investing in public infrastructure. The cabinet approved recommendations relating to the 2024/25 financial outturn, the medium-term financial outlook, and the Q1 financial forecast for 2025/26. They also approved a plan to allocate Strategic Community Infrastructure Levy (SCIL) funding to improve highways, parks, and CCTV, and agreed to seek tenders for electric vehicle charging points.
