Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 6.30 pm
The Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet on 9 July 2025 to discuss youth crime reduction, the latest performance monitoring report, and the panel's work programme for the coming year. The panel was also expected to note the items scheduled for discussion at its September meeting.
Licensing Sub-Committee C - Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 10.30 am
Councillor David Gardner, Chair of the Licensing Sub-Committee, opened the meeting to discuss applications for premises licences for Jincheng Alley Ltd and Rhubarb Cafe. Councillors Odette McGahey and Jahdia Spencer were also present. The sub-committee heard objections from local residents for both applications, and ultimately deferred their decisions to a later date.
Council - Wednesday, 25th June, 2025 7.00 pm
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council met on 25 June 2025, and among other business, agreed to prohibit itinerant ice cream trading on King William Walk, and to dispose of the Margaret McMillan Field Study Centre, subject to certain conditions. The council also reviewed its strategic risk register and discussed a number of questions raised by both members of the public and councillors.
Licensing Review Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 27th May, 2025 6.30 pm
The Licensing Review Sub-Committee was scheduled to convene to discuss two applications for the review of premises licences for the Woolwich Snooker Club (formerly known as Hustlers Snooker Club & Sports Bar) at 2-10 Hare Street, Woolwich. Both applications were brought by PC Mindaugas Alsauskas on behalf of the Metropolitan Police, and relate to the licensing objectives for the prevention of crime and disorder, and public safety.
