The agenda included the election of the Mayor and appointment of the Deputy Mayor, as well as the establishment of council bodies and appointment of members to those bodies. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the appointment of members to committees, sub-committees, and other bodies within the council's constitution for the upcoming municipal year.

The Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee met to discuss the recruitment process for the new Chief Executive. The sub-committee was scheduled to interview shortlisted candidates and potentially make a recommendation to the full council. Part of the meeting was not open to the public and press, as it involved consideration of exempt information under the Local Government Act 1972.

Licensing Committee - Wednesday, 30th April, 2025 7.00 pm

The Licensing Committee of Camden Council scheduled a meeting for 30 April 2025, to discuss and review the Statement of Licensing Policy 2025-2030, consider feedback from a public consultation, and hear deputations regarding the policy. The main focus of the meeting was to consider the draft policy and recommend it to the council for adoption.

Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee - Thursday, 24th April, 2025 11.00 am

The Audit and Corporate Governance (Appointment Panel) Sub-Committee met to discuss the recruitment process for the new Chief Executive, and to agree on a short list of candidates. The Sub-Committee was also scheduled to approve the minutes from meetings held on Monday 22nd January 2024 and Tuesday 6 February 2024.
