Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee - Thursday 2 October 2025 7:30 pm

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss community grant applications, proposed transport schemes, and local planning applications. The committee approved two applications for Neighbourhood Community Grant funding. They also discussed proposed schemes for the Local Implementation Plan (LIP) Programme 2026/27 and made decisions on two planning applications for Orchard House and 25 Blenheim Gardens.

Corporate and Resources Committee - Tuesday 30 September 2025 7:30 pm

The Corporate and Resources Committee convened to discuss key performance areas for the council. Councillors approved recommendations relating to a Corporate Peer Challenge, the annual handling of complaints, and the awarding of contracts for security. The committee also noted the revenue and capital budget monitoring reports, and approved a number of changes to capital budgets.

Pension Fund Panel - Wednesday 17 September 2025 10:00 am

The Kingston upon Thames Council's Pension Fund Panel met to discuss the fund's triennial valuation, administration, governance, and investment performance. The panel approved the draft funding strategy statement, noted the pension administration performance update, and approved the pensions dashboard matching policy. They also discussed and agreed to review the responsible investment policy, consider options for divestment from companies on the UN list, and publish an annual stewardship report.

The Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee met to discuss traffic management, parking, community grants, and a footbridge petition. Councillors approved recommendations for traffic management measures on Manorgate Road to be deferred, parking options in the Dickerage Lane area, and community grant funding for New Era Community Projects and Kingston Association for the Blind, while denying funding for Association QMC School of Capoeira. Home to School Travel Appeals Panel - Wednesday 13 August 2025 6:30 pm

The Home to School Travel Appeals Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss a report on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, and to agree on a meeting procedure. Councillor Diane White, Portfolio Holder for Children's Services (including Education) and Co-Chair - People Committee, was scheduled to attend as a substitute. The panel was expected to exclude the press and public from the meeting because of the confidential nature of the information to be discussed.
