...to facilitate the transition of Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) functions, the Cabinet supported the Leader's appointment to the Solent Growth Partnership, granting them statutory executive authority to make financial decisions for economic growth in the three Unitary Authority areas, subject to existing frameworks and financial approval.

Future arrangements for services currently delivered by Hampshire County Council under service level agreements (Children’s Services)

When the children’s services partnership arrangement between IOW and HCC ended on 31/1/24, service level agreements were put in place for ten services (e.g. Multi agency safeguarding hub, educational psychology, and school improvement). The IOW needs to proceed with the next stage of designing and implementing future arrangements before the end of these service level agreements, and Cabinet are asked to approve the proposed next steps.
