Children's, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny - Monday 8th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Children, Young Persons & Education Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Family Hubs, and school attendance issues in North Northamptonshire. The committee noted positive developments in MASH and the continued focus on early intervention. Council - Wednesday 3rd September, 2025 6.00 pm

At a meeting on 3 September 2025, North Northamptonshire Council discussed a range of issues, including public health, the appointment of independent persons, and political balance on council committees. Councillors approved the Director of Public Health’s annual report, the establishment of an Independent Remuneration Panel, and a scheme for the enrolment of Honorary Aldermen and Alderwomen. They also voted on several motions, approving those related to planning committees and business rates, while rejecting motions concerning a planning issue in Loddington/Cransley, service harmonisation and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Corporate Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 26th August, 2025 7.00 pm

Councillors voted to approve the application for the change of use of 69 Wellingborough Road, Rushden from a dwelling house to a nine-person HMO[^2], subject to conditions.
