The Cabinet noted an overspend of £14 million on its revenue budget, agreed to directly award the contract for drug and alcohol services to Change Grow Live (CGL), adopted a new Serious Violence Strategy and agreed to lease two sites for temporary accommodation.

The Council voted to welcome the new Labour government and to write to the Prime Minister to offer their congratulations. Councillors also voted to adopt a new Civility in Public Life action plan, and to approve the transfer of planning powers back to the Council from the LLDC.

Executive Decision

ICT - Provision of Microsoft Enterprise Licencing and subscription (SaaS), Executive Decision - Tuesday, 9th July, 2024 11.00 am

Waltham Forest Council has agreed to extend its Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft for software licences for a further three years. This decision was taken without being put out to tender because the council believes that this would have cost more money and that it would be difficult to switch provider.
