At the annual meeting of the Westminster City Council, Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg was elected as the new Lord Mayor, succeeding Councillor Robert Rigby. The council also approved changes to the Procurement Code and confirmed the allocation of places on standing committees.

Planning Sub-Committee (1) - Tuesday 13th May, 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Sub-Committee (1) of Westminster Council is scheduled to meet on 13 May 2025 to review several planning applications. These include proposals for hotel amalgamation, residential extensions, and changes of use, with a focus on design, heritage, and amenity impacts. The meeting will also cover standard agenda items such as membership updates and declaration of interests.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 27th March, 2025 6.30 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee will consider a report on the Westminster After Dark Strategy as well as shape their work programme for 2025/26. The committee will also receive the Leader of the Council's cabinet update summarising the activities and decisions of the cabinet since their last meeting.

Planning Sub-Committee (2) - Tuesday 18th March, 2025 6.30 pm

The meeting of the Planning Sub-Committee (2) will consider six planning applications covering a range of proposals, including the change of use of a commercial unit, the excavation of basements and associated works, and an application to approve details of an access route to a waste refuse store.

Audit and Performance Committee - Tuesday 18th March, 2025 6.30 pm

The City of Westminster Council’s Audit and Performance Committee will be meeting to discuss various financial and performance matters for the current and coming year. They will also be looking at the planned scope and timing of internal and external audits, as well as the ethical conduct of the Council.
