Standards Committee - Wednesday, 24th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Standards Committee met to appoint two new independent persons to play a consultative role in investigating complaints against councillors, as required by the Localism Act 2011[^2]. Following interviews, Katie Prestedge and Kalwant Grewal were recommended for appointment to the roles. The committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting and noted that there were no declarations of interest.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss the restoration of the Lyrisham Play Tower and the realignment of the A205 South Circular. Councillors voted to refuse planning permission for the Play Tower project due to a failure to agree on a Section 106 agreement[^1], but voted to approve the A205 South Circular realignment project.

Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday, 31st July, 2025 7.00 pm

Council - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 7.30 pm

The Council of Lewisham met on 16 July 2025, and agreed to consider a petition regarding divestment from Palestine, adopted the Lewisham Local Plan, and approved the Lewisham Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule. The council also paid tribute to two former councillors who had recently died, and heard announcements on Lewisham schools, the return of the Blackheath fireworks display, and funding for care experienced employment.

Planning Committee A - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 7.30 pm

The Planning Committee A of Lewisham Council met on 24 June 2025 to consider several planning applications, including a retrospective application for alterations to a pub in the Telegraph Hill Conservation Area[^1], and a proposal for a traveller site in Bellingham. The committee was also scheduled to confirm the minutes of a previous meeting and to consider declarations of interest from members.
