The committee granted planning permission for the construction of eight new homes at 27 Longton Avenue in Sydenham, and for a mixed-use development comprising of eight flats at 52 Deptford Broadway. The committee also noted the minutes of their previous meeting, which took place on 15 October 2024.

Council - Wednesday, 27th November, 2024 7.30 pm

The most recent meeting of the full Council of Lewisham Council included a motion affirming the commitment of the Labour Group to addressing the climate emergency and included a review of the activities of the council's Overview and Scrutiny committees. The meeting also included discussion of whether the basic allowance paid to councillors should be increased.

Healthier Communities Select Committee - Tuesday, 19th November, 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting of the Healthier Communities Select Committee included a discussion about the development of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams in Lewisham, and a presentation on the Council’s budget plans for 2025-26. It also included a performance update on the Council's Physical Activity Strategy.

Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday, 7th November, 2024 7.30 pm

The meeting was scheduled to discuss the redevelopment of two sites. Councillors were asked to declare any interests they had in the applications, and were scheduled to be asked to confirm the minutes of the previous Strategic Planning Committee meeting, which was held on the 31st of July 2024.
